How to help here at NCC:

Like all charities, the National Children's Centre Huddersfield relies on people who can offer their "time, talent or treasure" in support of our work to help families.

Time - whether you have a few hours a week to spare or are looking for work placement opportunity that will give you some real, hands-on rewarding work experience, talk to us. We need help with projects such as the Christmas Poster Appeal or our furniture recycling scheme as well as assistance with our fundraising events.

Talent - what are you good at and do you fancy sharing that with us at the National Children's Centre? Maybe you've recently retired and not quite ready to see every day as a weekend - I bet we could use your experience and skills!

Successful fundraising events need a variety of talents to work - DJs, entertainers, transport, decorations, cleaners, caterers…if you can contribute we would love to hear from you.

Treasure - funds are vital to the future development of our work with needy families. It is over 30 years since the National Children Centre began in Huddersfield and in 2006 we're embarking on an exciting phase of expansion that will enable us to help even more families.
Please send a donation to National Children's Centre to support our vital work in the region.
Better still, grow with us and support us with a regular gift of £10 a month - help us to plan for the future. Just print and complete the standing order form and return to National Children's Centre.

Leave a Legacy - We all get a chance to make the world a better place by considering a legacy to charity in our will. Leaving a legacy to the National Children's Centre means a future investment in the next generation of children who will need the services of National Children's Centre, Huddersfield.

You can leave a set amount (pecuniary) or a share of your estate e.g 25% (residuary). All you need to tell your solicitor is what you wish to give and our details - National Children's Centre, Huddersfield (registered charity number 288125).
Simple - but possibly the single most effective donation anyone can ever make.
