National Children's Centre offers a programme of training to undergraduate and post graduate students from both UK Universities and a Norwegian University.

Students work as team members supported by teachers, social workers, Early Years professionals and management staff.

It is intended that students experience a working environment whilst gaining valuable experience in their discipline. An intensive induction programme is given initially, after which the students work with individual projects within their preferred area which is stipulated at interview.
